The Golden Pass is designed to enhance gameplay while remaining integrated with the Archipelago's player-driven economy.
When players purchase the pass, they receive a tradable subscription token rather than an instantly activated subscription.
This token gives players two options:
Redeem it to activate 30 days of Golden Pass benefits.
Sell it on the marketplace to other players for currencies such as BJORN or $ALICE.
This flexible structure allows premium access to circulate within the economy. It creates opportunities for both players who want to spend and players who prefer to earn their access through gameplay.

Players can obtain the Golden Pass through the Global Shop.
Process
Open the Global Shop.
Select the Premium Subscription entry.
Purchase the subscription using $ALICE.
The purchase mints a Premium Subscription Token into the player’s inventory.
The subscription token represents 30 days of Golden Pass access.
Pricing
The Golden Pass is designed to cost approximately $9.99 USD per month
Subscription Token
When a player purchases the Golden Pass, they receive a subscription token in their inventory.
Key characteristics:
The token represents 30 days of Golden Pass access
The token is freely tradable on the marketplace
The token can be redeemed at any time by its holder
Because tokens are tradable, players may choose to sell them instead of activating them.
Redeeming the Golden Pass
To activate the Golden Pass:
Open the Inventory
Select the Premium Subscription Token
Click “Redeem Premium”
Confirm activation
A confirmation message will appear:
“Activate 30 days of Premium?”
Once confirmed:
The token is consumed
30 days are added to the subscription timer
Subscription Timer
Each redeemed token adds exactly 30 days of Golden Pass access.
If players activate multiple tokens, the time stacks additively.
Example:
Player has 14 days remaining
Player redeems another token
New total:
44 days of Golden Pass
All bonuses remain active as long as the timer has time remaining.
Once the timer reaches 0, all Golden Pass benefits immediately stop.
Gameplay Benefits
While the Golden Pass is active, players receive the following gameplay modifiers:
+25% XP from all activities
+50% resource gathering yield
+50% crop harvest yield
+50% BJORN from Oli
25% faster crafting timers
50% reduced marketplace fees (listing and order fees)
These bonuses apply only while the subscription is active.
First-Time Subscription Bonus
The first time a player redeems a Golden Pass token, they receive a one-time welcome bundle.
This bonus is granted only once per account, regardless of how many subscriptions are later activated.
