# 🎁 The New Year Airdrop

### Rewards Board
The New Year Airdrop will be powered by the [Rewards board](https://myneighboralice.com/rewards/). You can access it by heading to our [website](https://www.myneighboralice.com/) and clicking on the Rewards Tab.
The **Rewards Board will display a variety of tasks**, ranging from social media tasks to in-game tasks. When you **complete tasks**, you can **claim points**. You can then check the **leaderboard** to see how you’re doing compared to other players.
Here’s where it gets exciting: the **higher your position on the leaderboard**, the **greater** your **chances of being rewarded with $ALICE**.

### Timeline
The New Year Airdrop will run for 4 weeks, from **February 5th to March 5th**.
### Airdrop Tasks
Points can be earned by engaging in **3 different types of tasks**. The following sections outline the points you can expect to receive for completing each type of activity.

Please note that throughout the 4 weeks, tasks with different point values may also be dropped. Every Thursday at 1 pm UTC, new tasks are dropped on the Rewards board.

#### 1. Become a Land Owner in the 2 New Regions
Starting on February 5th, we are running a **very special Land Sale in Lummelunda**. For the first time, all the Neighbors can buy their lands in Tinsel Falls and Gloomy Gulch Regions!
For each land bought in these 2 new regions, you'll get a defined amount of points, based on the attributes of each land (quality of Soil and Water), summed up.

**How it works in practice:**
* Only primary sales on the marketplace are eligible for this points attribution
* For each land you buy in the primary market in these 2 new regions, you will get the **sum of the points as stated in the table above.** The more lands you buy, the more points you get.
* Example: If you buy a land that has a good quality of Soil, and Excellent Quality of water, you'll get 1500+2000=**3500 points** added on the leaderboard. This applies to each piece of land you buy.
* You can claim the points on the rewards board, but the leaderboard will only be updated with the due amount of points every **Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at around 1 pm UTC.** So if you don't see your points immediately being reflected, don't panic, they will be there in the next update!
#### 2. Social Media Tasks
You may be asked to **like**, **comment**, or **repost** content that My Neighbor Alice shares on its official social media profiles. Additionally, you might be asked to **create special content for My Neighbor Alice**, such as a short video or authentic pictures. **You must claim your points** by going to the [Rewards tab](https://myneighboralice.com/rewards/) and clicking the “Claim” button.

#### 3. In-game Tasks
You may be asked to complete in-game tasks ranging **from simple ones**, like using the landscaping feature, to **more complex tasks**, such as crafting intricate NFTs. The **points** awarded will **correspond to the difficulty of the task**.

Make sure to check the Rewards Board often, as every week new in-game tasks will be added to the Board.

#### How to Claim Points:
* Once a task is completed, **you must claim your points** by going to the [Rewards tab](https://myneighboralice.com/rewards/) and clicking the “Claim” button. Points can only be claimed **10 minutes after task completion**.
* The time at which you claim the points will be considered the **official completion time** for the quest.
#### Important:
* If a task is completed but **points are not claimed before the program ends**, no points will be awarded for that quest.
Make sure to complete and claim your points before the program closes to ensure your progress is rewarded!

### Temporary Task – 10% Reimbursement on every land bought (Game Night #1)
During **Game Night #1 (February 13, 2026, 11 AM UTC)**, a special temporary task will become available.
**From the start of Game Night #1, players will have 12 hours to claim this task and opt in for a 10% reimbursement on all land purchases made from the beginning of Game Night #1 until the end of the New Year Airdrop (March 5).**
This task grants 0 airdrop points, but unlocks a major advantage if you’re planning to buy new land in Gloomy Gulch or Tinsel Falls. You need to claim it (click claim on the [rewards board](https://myneighboralice.com/rewards/)) to whitelist your wallet for the reimbursement.
Important:
* Players must claim the task within the first 12 hours after Game Night #1 begins.
* Once claimed, players will receive 10% reimbursement on the total amount spent on land purchases on the primary Market between February 13 (11 AM UTC) and March 5 (1 PM UTC)
* Players who do not claim the task within the 12-hour window will not be eligible.
* The reimbursement will be made after the end of the New Year Airdrop: March 5 (no later than 7 days later).
This is a limited-time opt-in opportunity.
### Temporary Task – 10% Cumulative Reimbursement + 5% in the first 24h & Golden Collection Rewards (Game Night #2)
During Game Night #2 (February 27, 11:00 AM UTC / 12:00 PM CET), a new temporary task will become available.
From the start of Game Night #2, players will have 12 hours to claim this task and opt in for an additional 10% to 15% reimbursement on land purchases. This 10% is cumulative for players who also opted in during Game Night #1, allowing them to receive up to 20% total reimbursement.
#### Reimbursement Mechanics
* Players must claim the task within the first 12 hours after Game Night #2 begins.
* The additional 10% only applies to land purchases made after claiming the Game Night #2 task.
* If you claim this task and buy a land in the primary market in the first 24h, you get an extra 5%.
* Once claimed, all eligible land purchases made during the airdrop period will count toward the reimbursement on the total cumulative amount spent.
* Players who also claimed the Game Night #1 reimbursement task may accumulate up to 20% total reimbursement (10% from Game Night #1 + 10% from Game Night #2).
* Players who claimed both tasks and bought a land within the first 24h from the start of Game Night #2 will get 25% rebate on those lands.
* Players who do not claim the task within the 12-hour window will not be eligible for the additional reimbursement.
* This task grants 0 points and serves only to register eligible wallets.
#### Golden Collection Rewards
Game Night #2 also introduces special Golden Collection incentives:
* One Golden Collection item (valued between 400–500 $ALICE) will be raffled among the Top 50 players of Game Night #2.
* Players who opt in to the reimbursement task will receive one Golden Collection item (valued at 100 $ALICE) for each land purchased during the eligible period.
These rewards are in addition to the reimbursement opportunity. Don't miss this chance!
### Leaderboard and $ALICE Rewards
As you complete tasks, you’ll earn points that determine your leaderboard ranking.

Completing tasks quickly is important - if you have the same points as another player, but they reached that score before you, they will be ranked higher. For example, if one player reaches 100 points on February 20th and another player reaches 100 points on February 21st, the first player will rank ahead of the second one.
